How We Got Started
John McCloskey, founding Broker of Michigan Premier Real Estate, first entered the REO industry in 1996 with the vision that employing dedicated, professional real estate agents to handle distressed/foreclosed properties would offer his clients more value and better service than the industry was known for. His personal attention to each property assigned to him, open communication with his asset managers, and understanding of his clients' business needs laid the foundation for the level of service and value that Michigan Premier Real Estate delivers today.
In 2006 we combined our experience and expertise to form Michigan Premier Real Estate, Inc., specializing in bank owned real estate (REO) and short sales (since 1996). Our staff has combined residential real estate experience of over 50 years. Our REO expertise includes working as an approved Realtor for all major lenders. Our team is accomplished in valuation (Broker Price Opinions (BPO) and Monthly Marketing Reports) and have the Value Specialist Certifications to stand behind our work. Our marketing and knowledge for Michigan real estate is of the tri-county region. We have listed and sold thousands of properties in the past 6 years. This past year alone, we closed approximately 125 assets with over 12.5 million dollars in sales and are again on our way to surpassing that goal this year.
In March of 2013, we partnered with Carrington Real Estate Services (US) LLC (d/b/a Vylla Home), to form what is known as the White Lake Branch of CRES.
